Social Media Director

  • 8 to 16 hrs a week
  • Lead the Social Media Team (multiple volunteers with diverse relevant skills, some of who create and edit videos)
  • Stay up to date on AI (safety, governance) news
  • Run our Social Media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)
  • Share our messages on social media and engage with others
  • You enjoy posting things on social media, have a good feeling for marketing and have knowledge of AI safety and governance!

Petition Campaign Organizer

  • We’re planning to set up a large scale petition, where we’ll need a lot of signatures.

Mass Mobilization Organizer

Develop a local plan of mass mobilization, primarily through direct outreach (flyering & postering invites to public meetings) but also to a lesser extent through online/social media outreach as well as virtual meetings- where the objective of the meeting is the establishment of interpersonal relationships between local community members that are organized towards the formation of and growth of a local PauseAI action group that meets regularly and engages in activities towards growth, self-replication and execution of the Pause AI strategic plan.

Skills:

  • the ability and desire to meet & talk with (potentially lots) of others,
  • a certain physical idefatigability in flyering for extended periods
  • group moderation skills, charisma, verbal communication skills, organizational skills
